The government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela has announced the return of migrant compatriots from the United States to their homeland, facilitated by two aircraft from the airline CONVIASA.
This initiative is part of the “Return to the Homeland” plan, designed to repatriate thousands of Venezuelans who have migrated due to economic sanctions and psychological warfare campaigns against the country.
In an official statement, the Venezuelan government emphasized that “any transfer of Venezuelans must be carried out with absolute respect for their dignity and human rights,” within the context of ongoing discussions with the U.S. government.
However, it was mentioned that some of the repatriated individuals are allegedly linked to criminal activities, including connections to the so-called “Aragua Train,” a criminal gang that has been targeted by Venezuelan institutions.

The statement also asserts that “our institutions fought and defeated this criminal gang on Venezuelan soil” and presents irrefutable evidence of its recruitment by extremist opposition sectors. Despite these claims, the government of Nicolás Maduro emphasizes that the migrants are “decent and hardworking people.”
Additionally, the government reaffirmed its intention to establish relations based on mutual respect and direct cooperation in police and judicial matters to combat organized crime and the financiers of human smuggling networks that have defrauded many compatriots.
Finally, Venezuela reiterated its willingness to maintain a constructive and direct dialogue with the United States, in line with its “Bolivarian diplomacy of peace.”
